Le Côté Aérien

This is the story of a father and his daughter, who live happily in the mountain. One day, the father (who is named Papoune), leaves to explore a cursed glacier… But never comes back. Lu, his daughter, decides to build a little red airplane to look for him, wherever he is now. Tragic.

For this project, I’ve written the scenario, and I’ve done concept art in Photoshop, trying to express the universe where Papoune and Lu live at my best. Character design, but also props and environment design.

Anyway, I really really enjoyed drawing Lu, Papoune, and their cat Cha, it was a sweet thing that I’ve had in mind, and I’ve done my best to convey it from my hands to the real world.
